    AUDIO
 
  • MULTI-TRACK RECORDING AND MIXING
     
    The process of archiving multiple sounds on tape / disc, and optionally adjusting the quality of those sounds individually to create an articulate final product.
    $70.00 / hour for sessions under 5 hours
    $60.00 / hour for sessions 5 hours or longer
    $550.00 / day for 12-hour BLOCKOUT (including breaks)
     
     
  • MASTERING
     
    The process of making a project duplication-ready by "fine-tuning" the levels, EQ, timing / pacing, and additional data, and then creating the CD Master.
    Digital Mastering:
     
    $70.00 / hour for sessions under 5 hours
    $60.00 / hour for sessions 5 hours or longer
    $550.00 / day for 12-hour BLOCKOUT (including breaks)
     
    Hi-end Analog Mastering*:
     
    $100.00 / hour
     
    *at our affiliate mastering studio, Boom Media Works.
    Equipment includes Manley, Tube Tech, and Weiss compressors and EQs, and Genelec monitors
     
     
  • FORMAT TRANSFERS (ADAT, DAT, CDR, OMF)
     
    The process of changing the media on which a recording is stored.
    $70.00 / hour (1 hour minimum)
     

 
    MUSIC PRODUCTION
 
  • MUSIC PRODUCTION / ARRANGING
     
    The process of modifying a client's music into a more complete, expressive, and marketable product.
    $100 / song - with Scott Harlan
    Quoted per project - with other engineers
     
     
  • ORIGINAL MUSIC COMPOSITION
     
    We write music or build loops / beats to accompany your lyrics, video footage, or other music needs. Includes writing, full production and ownership of music copyright. Additional fees may apply for special requests.
    $300.00  for the first 15 seconds of music
    $600.00  for 30 seconds of music
    $900.00  for 60 seconds of music
    $300.00  per additional 30 seconds of music
     
    (repeated sections are not billed additionally)
     
     
  • COMMERCIAL / CORPORATE SONGWRITING / JINGLES
     
    We write a unique, identifiable theme song for your business, which can be used in presentations, commercials, and promotional materials. Additional fees may apply for special requests.
    $300.00  for the first 15 seconds of music
    $600.00  for 30 seconds of music
    $900.00  for 60 seconds of music

    RECORDING WORKSHOPS AND CONSULTATION
 
  • "FUNDAMENTALS OF MULTITRACK RECORDING" WORKSHOP
     
    A small-group 6-class course that teaches the basic principles of how to make multitrack recordings from start to finish, including how to use a variety of equipment, and how to understand your listening environment. Visit our workshop page for more information.
    $350.00 - Includes six classes, each about 3.5 - 4 hours long, and a textbook of the workshop curriculum
     
     
  • CONSULTING
     
    One-on-one help with your home studio, audio problems, and questions related to your recording system.
    $75.00 / hour - at your location (2 hour minimum)
    $70.00 / hour - at Golden Sound Studio (1 hour minimum)
     

 
    BROADCAST MEDIA
 
  • STUDIO TIME FOR PRODUCTION OF ADVERTISEMENTS
    • - Includes full day studio session (8 hour max)
    - Includes all recording, editing, mixing and mastering
    - Client provides all creative, voice talent, copy editing, and
      broadcast coordination
    - Additional fees apply for deliveries, shipping, materials and
      special requests
    - Post production edits billed at $70/hour (after project
      completion)
    - 50% deposit required for all bookings
     
    $550.00 / per day

 
PAYMENT METHODS AND POLICIES
  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check, and PayPal
  • Payment due at time of services rendered
  • 50% Deposit required for first booking with new clients
  • Client pays the 3% PayPal fee on transactions over $300.00
  • Our piano has maintenance tunings every 4 - 8 weeks. To have the piano tuned specifically for your session, the client pays the tuner's fee (between $100 - $150).
  • No masters or references leave the studio at any point that a client has an outstanding balance
